He is a highly sought after speaker and has a flock that is diverse in race, age, gender, socio-economic status and pre-alter backgrounds. God’s anointing creates miraculous events in the lives of all who Pastor Johnson ministers to. Yet inwardly, this angel of the church is at odds with the one who has elevated him to such lofty aspirations. Added to the storyline is a mother who has been in the church all her life, with the exception of a teenage fall in the faith that produced twins. Now seventeen years later, although she has been back in the will of the Lord, she experiences through one of her twins what seems like payback for her prior sins. Is what she is experiencing a boomerang consequence for her past? Or simply the result of the decisions made by her eldest child? Also, imagine an ambitious assistant pastor’s wife who is married to a man from very humble beginnings. Having been bruised, accused, and sitting in ashes, God summons a cloud to give himself a ride into Job’s neighborhood. Once God arrives, he asks Job and his so called friends, "Can you understand?"
